In January 2001, the West Anglia Cancer Network was formed to work with patients, health professionals and managers to help implement the NHS Cancer Plan for the people of West Anglia. This Network covers a population of 1.6 million people and stretches from Kings Lynn in Norfolk to Harlow in Essex (map of area). Working together within the network are three health authorities, 15 primary care organisations and eight hospitals.
