New dementia targets are proposed for GPs in next year’s QOF

General practitioners will be asked to help ensure that patients with possible dementia are treated more quickly and get help sooner as part of new indicators in the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) for next year. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the health and social care guidance body, published its proposed new indicators for next year’s framework on 1 August.
